Make a Donation

You have the power to help us impact the lives of people and families affected by epilepsy.  Only with public support, can we continue our mission throughout Michigan and ensure that people with epilepsy participate in all life experiences.  Gifts of time, talent, and resources change lives everyday.  We feel it is our obligation to keep our administrative costs as low as possible; we are proud to state that out of every dollar raised, $.88 goes back out into the community to do our mission.  Want to learn more about what we do?

HONOR & MEMORIAL GIFTS: Would you like your donation to be in honor or in memory of a loved one?

Need something for the person who has everything?  Want to give a gift that has a deeper meaning?  Consider making a gift “in honor” of someone special in your life.  For honor donations of $20 or more, we will send an Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan card personalized just for them, indicating the gift you have made in their honor.  Please make your honor gift today!

The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan currently accepts donations in memory of loved ones.  Donation envelopes can be sent to you or the funeral home directly.  Please contact Pam Bird (ext. 1204) to request donation envelopes.  You are also welcome to make a memorial donation online.

GIFTS IN-KIND: Interested in making an in-kind donation of goods and/or services?  Please download our Wish List to see our current needs and the items/services we are able to receive.

EMPLOYEE GIVING CAMPAIGNS: Did you know you can designate the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan to receive the funding you donate through your payroll deduction employee giving campaigns such as the United Way, Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), and State Employees Charitable Campaign (SECC)?  For United Way, you can indicate "Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan" and for the CFC and SECC campaigns you can use the code #73013 to insure your gift will come to the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan.

MATCHING GIFT PROGRAMS: Many companies offer matching gift programs and are willing to match your donation dollar-for-dollar.  Be sure to check with your company to see if they offer a matching-gift program.  You can also view this MATCHING GIFT PROGRAM COMPANY ROSTER.

NOMINATE US: Many companies offer Casual Days, Jean's Days, Special Events and other work-place incentives that raise money to support the community.  Does your company offer these incentives?  If so, please consider nominating the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan to be the beneficiary.  We are happy to offer collateral materials for your work-place or event to support these efforts.  This can be very effective in both raising funds and spreading epilepsy awareness.
