Pamela Bird, Office Manager
< Back to Staff
Pamela Bird is the Office Manager for the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. Pam came to the Foundation in 1985 and has held a variety of positions. Pam likes to describe herself as “a lifer” and she’s having the time of her life in her current position by continuing to learn new things and keeping busy in all the areas of the Foundation. She is the resident “mom”, keeping the office humming!
Pam resides in the downriver area with her husband, Don, their two children, Shanna and Lauren, as well as her hoodlum of a dog, Bentley, a Bouvier des Flanders and, the newest addition to her family, Knox, a very rambunctious Golden Retriever!
“The most rewarding part of my work is two-fold; the feeling of accomplishment and success that is felt when we have been able to assist someone affected by epilepsy with a problem or concern, or even something as minor as a point in the right direction or just listening. My heart warms when I hear the hope that we might have been able to provide. The second rewarding aspect of my work is the feeling of family. The relationships and friendships that have been built only make me a better person.”
